IT Grant Funding                                              

The Information Technology Training for Tomorrow (IT3) grant is designed to assist in providing certifications to individuals who have been dislocated due to the current economic instability. Training will emphasize: "to assist in providing certifications to IT professionals who are long-termed unemployed or underemployed".

  • Custom training packages that lead to sought after certifications and respond directly to employer needs.
  • Short-term class durations of 3 to 10 business days.
  • Career preparation readiness.
  • Advancement of skill sets of IT professionals where high-demand vacancies exist.

Qualification Requirements

Applicants must be:

  • Experienced in the IT industry
  • Have some college credits
  • Long-Term Unemployed (>26 weeks) or who have become discouraged and stopped looking for a job, or
  • Underemployed (must meet the following conditions):
    • Working part time, seeking full time
    • Insufficient responsibility or pay relative to experience and/or education level of the applicant
  • Individuals who have earned at least some college credits (Associate’s Degree preferred)

Note:  Veterans’ preference will be given.

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt+ (this is a 2 part course with project following each section)
