Technical Skills Training
San Jacinto College offers a full range of computer-related training, from broad-based computer job skills designed to boost low to moderate income individuals into self-sufficiency status, to high-end courses for the aerospace and petrochemical industries. Offerings include web page development, presentation graphics, operating systems, networking, programming languages, IC3 and Microsoft Office Specialist Certification courses, and other specialized technologies. The Continuing Education Division is an Authorized Testing Center for the IC3 and Microsoft Office Specialist exams.
Partnerships with governmental and civic agencies, school districts and workforce consortiums allow the department to teach courses on campus and at the community extension centers and in various neighborhood locations.
Courses can be customized to fit the needs of business and industry in the service area. Please contact a Continuing Education Office at a campus near you to discuss your desired course design, and for price quotes of specialized training.
