Prior to SJC: Played his senior season at Bonner Academy, where he averaged 34 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists per game. Also played Amateur Athletic Union basketball for Tony Squires, one of the most recognizable coaches in the nation.

Gernander on Fleming: “Jenard might be as athletic a guard as we have had in a long time. He can play the 1, 2 or 3 spot and is a great passer in addition to being an explosive scorer. He has a nice mid-range shot, but also uses his body to get to the basket. I expect big things from Jenard.”
