#10 -Nyla Ware

Prior to SJC: Nyla started playing as a junior in high school and joined the Epic Volleyball Club, which earned a third-place finish at USA Volleyball club nationals after her senior year. She was the captain of her high school team and earned all-league honors as a senior.

For 2006: Nyla will be an athletic force for the Ravens, complete with a 10’4” vertical leap to add up front. Although she has just two years of playing experience and will need to adjust to the collegiate game. Nyla has a great deal of untapped talent waiting to be unwrapped as a freshman and beyond.

Nelson on Ware: “Nyla is an amazing athlete who walks through the door at San Jacinto College with a tremendous amount of talent. She’s already proven to be a great player in a state nationally known for excellence in the sport. We anticipate her to have a tremendous gain in both knowledge of the game and ability during her time with us. Nyla has the ability to reach her goal of one day playing at a four-year college.”
