2005 at SJC: Earned all-conference, all-Region 14 and NJCAA all-American honors while leading the Ravens to the 2005 national tournament. Had a hitting percentage of 0.231 with 468 kills and was ranked nationally in kills per game throughout most of the season.

For 2006: The team captain, Gena is expected to be a leader on and off the court for the Ravens after a banner freshman season. At 5’11”, she jumps well and plays a smart game at the net. She spends much of her free time training to become an all-around talent. Her solid play will be essential to the team’s success.
