Prior to SJC: Leah was a part of two state championship teams at Rio Rancho High School, where she was a teammate of another Raven recruit, Amber Murphy. She was a first team all-state performer three times.For 2006: Leah will provide a solid presence at the setter position, where she displayed an ability to handle the tough balls during the recruiting process. On the sidelines, her positive attitude and never give up style will add to the team.Nelson on Lovato: “During our recruiting trip, we liked the set position that Leah gave. We liked her ability to get to the ball and handle whatever pass she was given, and her upbeat personality yet calm and collected style are a big plus for the Ravens.”
