Middle Blocker/Outside Hitter

Prior to SJC: Jessica trained with the Chicago-based Sports Performance Volleyball Club, which is the most highly-recruited club in the nation.

For 2006: Standing at 6’, Jessica will be a force at the net. She has sound techniques and is efficient in her movements. She has a solid block and an aggressive swing, so she will likely play both the middle and outside for the team. Jessica also has solid ball control skills.

Nelson on Batura: “Jessica is a strong player in both talent and physical ability. She has trained as hard as any other players in the country at her level. We are excited to have not only her ability but intensity. She wants to win, expects to win and expects her team to practice with winning in mind every day. Jessica is going to bring great leadership to the table.”
