Career Counseling
The Counseling Centers at each San Jacinto College campus offer a special service for individuals who are deciding on a college major, making a career change, re-entering the work force, or planning for their career advancement. Career counseling and testing are available for students, prospective students, and non-students by Texas licensed and/or nationally certified counselors. The program will help you examine options for change, formulate specific career objectives, identify areas to explore, and create realistic strategies for planning your career. A variety of computerized career testing is available, depending upon the counselor's recommendation and the needs of the individual.
Career and Employment Center
The Career and Employment Centers at each San Jacinto College campus assist students in locating employment either full-time after graduating or part-time while attending college. Specific resource materials cover such topics as resume preparation, interviewing skills and individual consultation. There is no charge to students or companies for the use of the Placement Center services.
