4-7 Solicitation of Business
In order to prevent eligible employees from being disturbed at inopportune times by various retirement and insurance annuity representatives, the aforementioned policy was passed. The intention of this policy is to standardize the procedures for all campuses to the solicitation process by these various representatives. In this manner both the employee and the representative can work together in scheduling a meeting that is agreeable to both parties.
The coordinator of employee benefits will notify the authorized representatives each fall and spring of the policy and the need for scheduling. In addition, eligible employees will be notified and provided with the times and scheduled meeting places for both fall and spring. When necessary, the representatives can schedule meeting places throughout the semester by contacting the appropriate Vice President of Student Services.
