Message from the Chancellor
Dear Employee:
With a new century approaching, San Jacinto College District faces a future of dynamic and constant change. It is a time for self-examination and renewed commitment to the concept of quality, affordable college education.
No college in the country has more reason to be proud than San Jacinto College District. Our instruction is first rate; our students compete and excel on regional, state and national levels; our reputation in the community and beyond is positive and strong. We end this century thankful for our resources--and the individuals whose hard work and talents have created such an outstanding institution of higher education.
In that same spirit, the San Jacinto College Board of Trustees and administration present this latest edition of our Policy Manual. With our policies set forth in clear, written form, we can better assure effective communication and understanding, as well as consistent, equitable treatment of all employees.
It is our hope that this manual will help all our employees to work together in a constructive, beneficial way. Thanks for your contributions to the success and advancement of The San Jacinto College District.
