High School Dual Credit

Get a jump-start on college.

This is a form of concurrent enrollment that allows you to take certain courses at San Jac that earn both college and high school credit. Say you take two courses in the fall semester and two more in the spring – you could graduate from high school with up to 24 hours of college credit! You can earn even more by taking summer courses.

It’s affordable, too. Tuition and fees are only half price, and you may even be covered for that amount if you qualify for the Texas Public Education Grant (TPEG). Check with your high school counselor for more information on that.

Here are the requirements:

  • Complete an admission application
  • Submit an Endorsement Form signed by you, your parent or guardian, and your high school counselor or administrator.
  • Submit documentation that you have met the TSI requirements
