7-4 Campus Curriculum Committee
The campus curriculum committee approves, rejects, or requests revisions of curriculum proposals. The committee may choose to forward the proposal with concerns. The committee will include three technical and three academic faculty representatives as mutually agreed upon by the president and Faculty Organization representative. Faculty should serve a staggered three-year term. Administrative and staff representatives will include vice president of instruction, registrar, counselor (ex officio), and the dean of technical education and academic dean (Central), or dean of program development and institutional effectiveness (North), or dean of instruction (South). Since the campuses are structured differently, the individual campus will create a campus curriculum committee that best suits its structure and provides broad-based representation. The campus curriculum committee shall choose its chair from among the faculty representatives. If no faculty accepts the position as chair, the chair may be selected from among the campus curriculum committee at large.
