7-4 District Curriculum Committee
The district curriculum committee will include three vice presidents of instruction, the vice chancellor of instructional programs and services, and three faculty members, preferably the chairs of the campus curriculum committees. The district curriculum committee will review and verify curriculum proposal recommendations. When an academic curriculum proposal has approval on all three campuses, the proposal proceeds to the district curriculum committee as an information item. If an academic course is "forwarded with concerns", the district curriculum committee will review the concerns and arbitrate. New technical programs and major technical program revisions proceed to the district curriculum committee as an action item. Minor revisions (as explained in Steps) proceed to the district curriculum committee as an information item. All other revisions proceed as an action item.
