New Student Orientation
Welcome to San Jacinto College!
We are happy you have chosen to pursue your educational goals with us. SJC is dedicated to your success so all new students are required to participate in New Student Orientation before registering for their first term. New Student Orientation is designed to give you the tools you need to be successful both inside and outside the classroom.
The mission of New Student Orientation is to:

· Establish social & academic connections
· Introduce college resources &
· Engage students in the SJC culture
in a fun, supportive environment!

Banner and SOS will be unavailabe beginning 5:00pm Friday 11/20/09 til 5:00pm Tuesday 12/1/09 for a major system upgrade. As sign up for New Student Orientation is through SOS and / or taking online orientation through SOS, students will not be able to sign up or take online orientation during this time.
Students have the option of choosing a campus orientation or online orientation. What is the differerence?
