Cosmetology Spa & Salon
The Cosmetology Program helps men and women find exciting careers in the challenging, profitable hair-care field. All aspects of the beauty profession are presented. Campus salons are also open to the public for service during the day and evening classes. You must contact the campus receptionist for rates and appointment information.

Upper level cosmetology students perform a variety of salon services in a well-supervised lab/salon environment. Some services offered are:
  • Haircuts
  • Facials
  • Manicures (artificial nails & pedicures available when Nail Technology class in session)
  • Hair color/highlighting
  • Relaxers & Permanent Waves

The salon hours are:
Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m. & 12:15 p.m.

The Cosmetology Program is designed to provide the student with the skill and knowledge to pass the state Cosmetology Commission examination for licensing in Texas, and for successful entry into the field of Cosmetology, as an operator, facial technician, or instructor. Once a student has completed the program they must pass the licensing examination for the state in order to be employed in either of the above fields.
