Prior to SJC: Kirsten was the captain of her team at Cedar Park High School, where she set school records for three-point shooting, including 3s made in a single game, most in a single season and most in a career.

About Kirsten: Kirsten was a member of the National Honor Society during her junior and senior years in high school. She also presided over the Cedar Park High School chapter of Fellowship of Christian Athletes. J.J. Redick, who enjoyed a fine career at Duke University before being selected in the first round of the 2006 NBA draft, is Kirsten’s favorite professional role model. She lists her parents, Cheryl and Kenny Cox, as her favorite non-professional role models. An education major, Kirsten wants to continue her studies and basketball career at a four-year college after SJC.
