Prior to SJC: Christa played her high school basketball at Westbury Christian High School before signing with McPherson College in Kansas. While at Westbury Christian, Christa was part of the school’s state-championship team as a freshman. During her senior season, Krista was named most valuable player of the district and was an all-state pick.

About Krista: Krista lists June Carter Cash as her favorite professional role model and her mother, Agnes Ingram, as her favorite non-professional role model. A nursing major, Krista wants to enter the nursing program at SJC and wants to one day become an RN. She is the daughter of Agnes Ingram.

Silman on Ingram: “Christa has one year of college experience and she leads by example. She stays composed on the floor, which allows her to keep the team composed and in the right sets. Because Christa maintains a certain calm on the court, she is going to be huge for us in those tough region games.”
