Ximines, Bernard named men's soccer all-Americans
HOUSTON, Texas - San Jacinto College men's soccer players Ricardo Ximines and Kieron Bernard have been named National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) All-Americans, the organization announced today.

Ximines, a sophomore forward / midfielder from Kingston, Jamaica (Excelsior High School), was named to the first team. Ximines finished the season with 17 points for San Jac behind seven goals and three assists. Bernard, a freshman captain this season (St. Catherine, Jamaica / Janthem Grant High School), earned a spot on the second team. As a defender, he had two points on the season.
“It's always a great honor to have your players recognized as all-Americans,” said head coach Dr. David Santesteban. “I'm very happy for these boys. To be named all-American is a very special honor and reflects well on our soccer program and on the College as a whole.”
The duo helped San Jac to a fourth-place national finish this season. San Jac defeated defending national champion Jefferson College in the opening round of the national tournament, before falling to Georgia Perimeter and Marshalltown. Sophomore captain Leon Williams (Clarendon, Jamaica / Knox High School) was named to the all-tournament team at the national tournament, and was also a member of the all-Region XIV team. San Jacinto finished the season with a 17-4-1 record.
