- San Jacinto College and the Delta Connection Academy (DCA) partner in training
- San Jac Aviation majors receive college credit for Academy flight training
- San Jac/DCA flight training is conducted at nearby Ellington Field
- DCA flight training will be done to airline pilot standards with new fully equipped aircraft
- FAA has granted the DCA flight examination authority, lowering overall aircraft hours and expenses for students
- DCA has been recognized for its incredible safety record; one incident per 49,000 flight hours
- Students completing the program are guaranteed an interview with Comair Airlines and other airline affiliates
- 97% of candidates who receive an interview are placed as first officers with FAA-approved Part 121 air carriers, including Continental ExpressJet
- San Jacinto College ground instructors currently have more than 260 years of aviation experience and more than 43,000 flight hours making this partnership ideal.

*AIRP 1215 (Private Flight) $7,500
*AIRP 2250 (Instrument Flight) $6,320
*AIRP 1255 (Intermediate Flight) taken twice-- $4,250 x 2 = $8,500
*AIRP 2239 (Commercial Flight) -- $5,800
* These courses are required for the AAS degree. ($28,120 Flight cost for degree)
AIRP 2251 (Multiengine Flight) -- $4,450 AIRP 2336 (CFI) -- $7,600
AIRP 2242 (Instrument Instructor) -- $3,900 AIRP 2243 (Multiengine Instructor) -- $8,940
“The charges for flight fees are subject to approval on August 8, 2005 by the San Jacinto College Board of Regents. While not anticipated if a lesser amount is approved, the difference will be refunded to the student.”
