Dancing Couple at Community Program

Community Programs

We are committed to giving back to our communities with our greatest asset - knowledge. Our non-credit community programs cover everything from hobbies to life skills. You don't need to be a student at the college already; these classes are open to anyone with a passion for learning.

A Healthy Education

Juana Schliemann
We have very diverse interests and curiosities, and we have enjoyed and learned from every class we have attended — from health-related nutrition, diabetes information, and other mental and physical health workshops.”
Juana Schliemann
Community Education Center Student

It only took one class for Juana Schliemann and her husband Bill to get hooked on San Jac’s community programs. The couple has found free classes that fit each of their interests. Enrolling in the program together allows the couple to spend quality time together while learning and staying active. Which, they say, helps keep them physically and mentally healthy.
